Asia trades mostly higher as markets in Greater China remain on holiday

Japan#39;s Nikkei 225 rose 428.96 points, or 1.97 percent, to 22,149.21, while the Topix index added 37.78 points, or 2.17 percent, to 1,775.15. South Korea#39;s Kospi index added 20.99 points, or 0.87 percent, to 2,442.82.
