Asian stocks resume ascent on earnings hopes, euro gets lift from ECB

MSCI#39;s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan rose 0.2 percent, following two straight sessions of decline. Japan#39;s Nikkei dipped 0.1 percent.
